Bear Flat Generosity – Again! Dec 11

For the 2^nd year Father Christmas and his helpers stood outside the Co-op on Saturday morning 10^th December. He was inviting shoppers to buy a little extra and fill his trolley. It was all in aid of three charities which support some of Bath’s deprived people – Genesis, Julian House, and Southdown/Whiteway.

For the 2^nd year the shoppers filled not one trolley but three!

Funding Galore! June 11

In the last month (June) Steve has secured over £4,000 of funding to support the work of the youth project at Beechen Cliff. This money will go towards two sessional workers who will work with Steve in the various activities he engages with each and every week.

Christian Aid Week - May 2011

The collection in our area raised £1,068.  Thank you to everyone who contributed or collected.  ‘You’ve helped peoplein poverty out of poverty’.

CHAMPIONS OF BATH!

Congratulations to our lads on winning the Bath youth 5-a-side tournament this month!! There were eight teams in the 15-18 competition battling it out and I’m delighted to report we came out as number one. We are fortunate to have many committed and skilful players connected to the youth club who play good football with a good attitude and spirit. Once again we can call ourselves champions of Bath-we’d better get a bigger trophy cabinet!
